Space, with support of the National Lottery Community Funds Youngstart programme, will be running the next block of their Pick ‘n’ Mix to Employment project aimed at supporting young people into work in a positive way.
The sessions start from Tuesday 27 September 2022. They are for 16 – 24 year olds and will take place at the Broomhouse Hub. They will be offering:
Wellbeing Tuedays, taking place 1.30pm – 4.00pm for eight weeks from Tuesdays 27 September 2022, offering a safe place to have fun, make friends and tend to your wellbeing.
Job Taster Thursdays, taking place 1.00pm – 4.00pm for eight weeks from Thursday 29 September 2022 where each session they will introduce people to a different job type.
Employability Fridays, taking place 9.30am – 12.00pm for seven weeks from Friday 30 September 2022 which will help you learn about your skills and qualities, how to read job adverts, look for opportunities, apply for jobs and more.
