WHALE Arts is happy to announce that they will be holding the next block of their Art in the Open sessions in partnership with the Health Agency’s Willow Gardening Group, at the Calders Community Garden.
The sessions start on Tuesday 14 March 2022, 2.00pm – 4.00pm and will run for 10 weeks, with the Willow Gardening Group – therapeutic gardening group running from 12.00pm. People are welcome to come along and take part in some gardening before joining the group, or sign up for the group directly. The Calders Community Garden is located alongside the Canal, beside Bridge 8 Hub.
Art in the Open is a creative, therapeutic art group aimed at helping people who are struggling with mild to moderate mental health issues, to process stress, anxiety and help build confidence.
