The City of Edinburgh Council are looking to fill a Facilities Technician Vacancy based at Wester Hailes Healthy Living Centre.
The post is permanent, working part time 20 hours per week, split Monday to Friday, 4.00pm – 8.00pm, with a salary of £22,185 – £24,590 (pro rata for part time).
You will undertake day to day FM, janitorial and DIY operations across one or more buildings, ranging from small repairs and general maintenance to reactive cleaning, supporting moves and conducting basic security functions.
Major Tasks
The Caretaking role will include the following list of caretaker duties on a mobile basis across a number of buildings:
- Equipment and furniture and fitting maintenance
- Building maintenance and services
- Security of premises and grounds
- Grounds maintenance
- Cleaning /Tidying
