The City of Edinburgh Council are looking to fill a catering supervisor vacancy based at Wester Hailes High School.
The post is permanent working part-time 3 hours per week with a salary of £22,185 – £24,590 per year (pro rata for part time).
Job Description
To supervise, organise and directly participate in the provision of a cafeteria/traditional meal and hospitality catering service to schools, lunch clubs and others. This will encompass direct control over staff management, production, stock control and the maintenance of the Quality System documentation and practices on a daily basis.
Working with the Unit Manager at Wester Hailes High School, the catering supervisor will be involved in assisting the unit manager run one of the largest sites in Edinburgh, with over 600 meals sent out daily plus a commercial catering operation.
