The City of Edinburgh Council are recruiting a School Support Assistant Vacancy based at Wester Hailes High School.
The post is fixed term to 20/12/2024, working part-time 27.5 hours per week during term time 39 weeks per year, with a salary of £21,697 – £21,979 per year (pro-rata for part-time and sessional).
We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised person to join our busy team. The role will include providing administrative support to teaching staff across the school.
The role will involve working in our busy school environment, covering duty in our busy foyer area and outdoor spaces, reception duty when required, putting up display work and manual handling.
The successful candidate will have experience of working in a busy office environment and be willing to work flexibly in order to meet the needs of the service. They will also be competent users of ICT and have knowledge and experience of using databases, spreadsheets and word documents. Excellent communication skills and experience of working to tight deadlines is essential.
