The City of Edinburgh Council is recruiting a Business Support Officer position based at Wester Hailes Healthy Living Centre.
The post is fixed term until 31 March 2024, working part-time 18 hours per week with a salary of £28,854 – £34,057 (pro-rata for part time).
This is a part time, temporary Business Support Officer role with an emphasis on line management of business support staff who provide comprehensive and flexible business support to various teams within the Edinburgh Health and Social Care Partnership.
The Business Support Officer will be responsible for the line management of business support staff and ensuring that support, via a wide range of administrative and financial tasks, is delivered to our customers and service users. You will have responsibility for the leadership and development of staff, including consideration of succession planning and resilience to ensure business continuity.
The post will have responsibility for recruitment and development and performance of all roles in their span of management as well as deputising for the Business Support Team Manager. The role will also involve managing change, process review and development. The post will involve both home and office working, mainly based at the South West Locality Office however the role may require the successful candidate to work at any Council location.
The working hours must include a full day Friday, other hours may be negotiated.
