Lothian Buses have released information on a series of diversions to local buses due to roadworks taking place Calder Road from Monday 23 October for five weeks.
Details are:
Due to roadworks, part of Calder Road will be closed Eastbound from Mon. 23rd Oct. between 6.30pm and 6.00am each Weekday Night for approximately 5 weeks.
affects services 3, 21, 25, 34, 35, 36, 400, X27, X28, X40, N25
Diversions:
Services 25 34 35 X27 X28 N25 – between Calder Junction and Calder Road at Broomhouse Road, buses will divert via Cultins Road, Bankhead Drive and Broomhouse road heading eastbound only.
Service X40 – between Calder Junction and Wester Hailes Road, buses will be diverted via Cultins Road, Bankhead Drive and Broomhouse Road heading towards Royal Infirmary only.
Service 3 – between Westside Plaza and Saughton Mains, buses will divert via Murrayburn Road and Longstone Road heading towards Mayfield only.
Service 36 – between Bankhead Crossway North and Sighthill Roundabout, buses will divert via Bankhead Avenue, Bankhead Drive and Broomhouse Road in both directions. (Only Part Route 36 journeys terminating at Sighthill Colleges will serve Sighthill Colleges.)
Service 400 (to Fort Kinnaird) – Between South Gyle Access and Wester Hailes Road, buses will divert via Bankhead Drive, Broomhouse Road and Calder Road Westbound towards Fort Kinnaird.
Service 400 (to Airport) – Between Wester Hailes Road and South Gyle Access, buses will divert via Calder Road, Cultins Road and Bankhead Drive towards Edinburgh Airport.
Service 21 (to Royal Infirmary) – Between Wester Hailes Road and Meadow Place Road, buses will divert via Calder Road, Cultins Road and Bankhead Drive towards Royal Infirmary only.
