Wester Hailes Library run a Sew and Repair Drop-in every Thursday 2.00pm – 4.00pm.
The drop-in is part of the library’s new lend and mend hub. There will be sewing machines available to use and an expert will be hand to lend support and advice.
The purpose of the hub is:
- Mending facility – free to use equipment and tools for you to give your goods a new life
- An information hub to find out how you can repair, reuse and recycle in your local community
- Workshops and classes to share and improve your mending, reuse and upcycling skills
