Wester Hailes Library will be holding a block of four Kids Sewing Classes as part of their Lend and Mend Hub.
The classes, for children aged 9 and up will take place from Friday 24 November until 15 December running Fridays 3.00pm – 4.00pm. Head along and learn basic sewing machine skills and create an item to take home!
The Lend and Mend Hub aims to
- Be a Mending facility – free to use equipment and tools for you to give your goods a new life
- An information hub to find out how you can repair, reuse and recycle in your local community
- Offer Workshops and classes to share and improve your mending, reuse and upcycling skills
