Prospect Community Housing are looking for new voluntary Management Committee members.
This is an exciting time for Prospect. As well as owning and managing almost 900 homes, we have plans to build further homes across a number of developments. We are a strong, independent registered social landlord focussed on serving our tenants and the community of Wester Hailes, Edinburgh.
They are looking for Management Committee members who have a commitment to Prospect’s vision and values and who want to make a difference to Wester Hailes. Ideally applicants will have a connection to the Wester Hailes area, either currently or in the past. They would welcome applicants with a wide range of skills and knowledge relevant to the work that they do. They are particularly interested in hearing from people with knowledge or experience in any of the following areas:
- Accountancy/finance
- Compliance e.g. data protection, health and safety, procurement
- Experience of working in rented accommodation sectors (social or private)
All positions are voluntary but reasonable expenses to facilitate attendance at meetings will be paid. Induction and further training will also be provided.
