SCOREscotland invites you to a Inter-cultural Event

SCOREscotland is happy to announce they will be holding their regular South West Edinburgh Inter-Cultural Community event, this Saturday 27 January 2018, from 3.00pm.

The free event is always a lot of fun with music, food, stall and entertainment on offer for all ages.

We will also be launching our Taste and Share programme which is part of the Tasting Change project – a local partnership initiative between Prospect Community Housing, Wester Hailes Health Agency, and GPs at Wester Hailes Medical Practice, WHALE Arts, CHAI and
SCOREscotland – to address local food insecurity.

Our Green Futures Project team will provide activities/games designed to raise awareness of climate change; give energy efficiency advice and tips on how to enjoy a warm and comfortable home whilst saving on household gas and electricity bills.

Food from a range of cultures, stalls with useful information, music which spans continents – and a welcoming environment – come taste and share!

The information stalls will showcase all sorts of opportunities to get involved with locally – find out about a variety of volunteer opportunities as well as several support services available in the South West Edinburgh area.

Shake a leg to the Ceilidh band, Meet people from other cultures! Get your groove going with a range of multi-cultural music from our internationalist DJ.

Appreciate a presentation of African drumming – dancing, and FOOD GLORIOUS FOOD!
