Lothian Buses Service Changes: June 2021

Lothian Buses have announced that a service change will take effect across Lothian Buses, East Coast Buses, Lothian Country, Airport and Nightbus services from Sunday 27 June.

Teams across Lothian have been analysing travel patterns and monitoring customer demand in order to best meet the needs of those travelling with us while we continue to move through the Scottish Government’s route-map to recovery.

Key changes to the network will include:

  • Improved reliability at peak times across the network with more buses.
  • More buses on Saturdays and Sundays.
  • Express services return, providing faster journeys for East Lothian and Midlothian commuters at key times.
  • RBS Gogarburn campus to be served at peak times by services X18 and X31.
  • Improved Nightbus network with new links introduced.
