The Digital Sentinel met with Diarmid Baillie at WHALE Arts today.
Diarmid is employed by New Caledonian Woodlands who were running a willow weaving class at WHALE Arts.
The participants on such a course are referred to the project by their GP, and the idea is that the activity will help those with mild mental health issues.
Today they had made platters and bird feeders today which you can see in the photos below.
Jeff who was the teacher has already made a beautiful basket which he used today to carry his tools in.
They seemed to be having a great time!
