The puppet animation festival which took place at WHALE over the Easter holidays was a huge success. In total there were over a hundred attendees and participants. Three professional puppet shows were staged and eight workshops in everything from circus skills to animation entertained the participants.
A spokesperson for WHALE said:-“The Easter holidays have come to an end but we at WHALE are still in awe of all the wonderful things our participants made and took part in over the last two weeks. We had mini marvellous puppets being made with the help of Angus Arts, Easter baskets filled with chocolate thanks to our textile group Stich’in Time. Lions, tigers and ring masters roaming our halls after the Easter drama circus session, not to mention the amazing magical animals created by our Easter create drop in group.
It has been a whirl wind two weeks but that’s not where the fun stops!
