City of Edinburgh Council are holding a care home recruitment evening on Tuesday 30 September from 5:00pm – 7:00pm at the Wester Hailes Healthy Living Centre. The council is currently recruiting social care workers and social care assistants for their Care Homes for Older People and their Home Care and Reablement teams. This is part of their current plans to try and ensure that people are able to stay at home as long as possible and reduce waiting lists for people getting out of hospital.
