Good news from WHEC library

WHEC library has had a great month for book donations. They have received three separate batches of new and used books.

The donations came from:

• Post-graduate students from Napier Universirty through Merchiston Publishing, they donated books from classic Scottish authors such as Lewis Grassic Gibbon, James McLevy and Mollie Hunter, which are now out of print.

• Bounce Sales & Marketing Group –  Sarah Wright, sales manager: donated a collection of popular teenage books. This was after Sarah was impressed by WHEC pupils at the Teen Titles evening reception.

• Former Principal Teacher of English and Head Teacher, Jane Frith donated donated a variety of well loved teenage and senior student titles.

WHEC would like to give a huge thank you to all their donors. Many of the books will be added to the WHEC library and some will be given to S1 students during Scotland Book Week in November and at World Book Day in March.
