St Andrew’s Day Events in Edinburgh


There is a whole range of events taking place across Edinburgh which could make for a fun St Andrew’s Day.

12:00   Storytelling (All ages Scottish storytelling with Shelia Stewart, the last in the line of the Stewart’s of Blair)
13:10   Royal Scottish Dance Society (Family Scottish country dance session)
14.40   Storytelling (All ages Scottish storytelling with Jess Smith, one of Scotland’s most popular authors)
16:00   Robert Fish Band – Celidih
17:30   Royal Scottish Dance Society (Family Scottish country dance session)
19:30   The Banjo Lounge Four (acoustic crate-digging mash-ups band delivering classics in an original and imaginative packaging)
21:00   The Hazey Janes (Indie/pop quartet, Scottish Album of the Year nominees)

On the Ice (10am – 10pm)

Free skate sessions throughout the day
11.00, 13.00 & 14.30   Murrayfield Skating School performances
16.45 & 17.30   Royal Caledonian Curling Club demonstrations

Round the Square with Colin Brown – Historical Tours of St Andrew Square
