Following the news that the Wester Hailes Healthy Living Centre had been broken into over the weekend we understand that the police investigation is well underway to find the culprits.

Local councillor Ricky Henderson said: “There’s a lot of fantastic joint working happening at the Wester Hailes HLC which is benefitting local people and others across this part of the city.
“It’s disappointing and depressing to think that some individuals think that attacking a Healthy Living Centre is a good idea.
“I condemn this destructive act but am confident that the staff and community organisations based at the centre won’t let this set back prevent them from continuing to develop excellent working relationships and improving the lives of local people.”
