There was a community event held at the library today titled Collaborative Problem Solving.
The problem being solved was how to make a future Open Space event a success. The participants were community activists or from local organisations, such as The Health Agency, the Community Council, SCOREscotland, WHALE Arts, Dads Rock, The Youth Agency and Prospect. There was much discussion regarding what would be required for the Open Space event to be attractive to as many people from Wester Hailes as possible.
The Open Space event which will take place on April 25th hopes to give Wester Hailes residents a voice, allow them to raise the issues that they care about and identify actions to address these in an open session.
