Wester Hailes Edible Estates will be holding a Spring forage on Tuesday 24 March 2015, 4.00-6.45pm at Clovenstone Community Centre as part of their ‘We Are What We Eat’ sessions.
The days are starting to get longer and things are starting to spring up all around us – so I would like to invite you all to a spring forage along the canal to harvest a little of nature’s bounty, and learn about their nutritious properties. We will then make some healthy snacks with what we have found. This is an extended ‘We Are What We Eat’ session, so you can choose to come along to the walk and the cooking, or either part.
