Police Scotland launch new app

Police Scotland have launched a new free app titled ‘Ask Police Scotland’. The app was designed by the Police National Legal Database and provides you with information on a wide range of non-emergency policing issues.

The app contains accurate, legally verified answers to over 750 of the questions most frequently asked by the public across Scotland. Questions and answers are added and updated frequently and the ‘question of the day’ and ‘latest news’ features provide topical information.

The new FREE ‪#‎AskPoliceScotland‬ app is now available to download on iOs: http://apple.co/1GfKohi and Google Play: http://bit.ly/1C6LZQd.

However, the app cannot be used for reporting crime, in that case you should contact 101 to report crimes that are not an emergency or to provide information or make an enquiry. In an emergency you should, of course, contact 999.
