The Calders Residents Association has been shortlisted as one of 31 finalists in the Scottish Charity Awards People’s Choice vote.
The Calders Residents Association which is categorised under “celebrating communities”. The winner is the organisation that receives the most votes and it will be presented at an event at the Assembly Rooms in Edinburgh on 4 June 2015, 6.30pm. You can vote online here.
Since forming in 2012 we have worked tirelessly to engage with local residents. Our community flat allows us to provide a wide range of services to a diverse group of people from all walks of life. Over the past few years we’ve grown a real community spirit and improved our neighbourhood.
With the tiniest of budgets our residents association has achieved great things for our neighbourhood. We keep our community engaged and informed and have great support from residents and local schools.
The Scottish Charity awards is organised by the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations (SCVO).
