Key To Choice Changes

Improvements are being made to the bidding process for new homes in Edinburgh. The City of Edinburgh Council and partner Housing Associations and Co-operatives let their homes through “Key to Choice”. This is a choice based letting scheme, which means that people can choose the homes they would like to be considered for. From Friday 29th April, Key To Choice will have a new website with additional features and support. Homes will no longer be advertised in the Monday night Evening News or the free Choice papers and applicants will be encouraged to both search and bid online.

The move is being made after research has shown that 88% of bids are now being made online. If applicants do still require a paper copy, they can call into their local Council Neighbourhood Office, Housing Association, Co-operative or Library and request a printed copy of homes currently available.

Applicants making bids online up until Friday 29th April should continue to use www.keytochoice.scotsman.com
