Today whilst we were at our Clovenstone I.T Drop in, we decided to pay a visit to Clovenstone Community Garden. We met up with Darren who is a volunteer at Edible Estates and has been for the past 10 months.
Darren has been working on the landscaping aspect of the garden and has been enjoying the experience.
Edible Estates is a project of The Health Agency a local health & well-being organisation. Edible Estates is a community growing initiative. Their goal is to encourage and support households in Wester Hailes to grow their own fruit and vegetables and cook healthy affordable meals.
They have gardens in various places around Wester Hailes including Calders and Clovenstone and are currently hoping to expand into Hailesland and Murrayburn.
