Wester Hailes Education Centre has released a letter today to all its pupils from Sheila Paton detailing that she will not be returning as Head Teacher of the school.
In the letter, Sheila congratulates all the pupils on the hard work they have carried out over recent years to help improve the school and that it was a joy to work with them. Sheila has accepted a job as Senior Manager of Schools with the City of Edinburgh.
Wester Hailes Education Centre has recently been advertising for the new Head Teacher position with the closing date for applications being 3 June 2016. Lewis Patterson is currently acting principal.
