New project About Youth receives WHCT funding

About Youth an exciting new project which aims to help and support local young people giving them more to do and teaching them new skills is the latest organisation to receive funding from the Wester Hailes Community Trust.

About Youth were awarded £2,159 which will allow them to run a new environmental volunteering project for local young people aged 16 – 25 who are unemployed and not currently engaging in further education or training. The project will teach participants new skills with a focus on conservation tasks, such as woodland felling, path building, bush craft and planting.
