Scottish Waterways Trust and 157th Braid Scouts in Edinburgh would like to invite volunteers and groups along to help give the canal side a bit of a clean up.
The group will be litterpicking along the Union Canal towpath from Calder’s Gateway to Wester Hailes. The plan is to meet at Calder’s Gateway to the Union Canal at Calder Crescent, EH11 at 10.00am on Saturday 25 February 2017.
They ask volunteers to:
- Dress for the weather
- Wear sturdy footwear or Safety footwear if available.
- Bring what they require for snack/lunch.
The duration of the event is flexible.
