Edinburgh College has released details of their Access Courses launching in September. The courses are for people who are planning to go on to study at higher education, but do not currently meet the academic entry requirements.
All access courses are at either Level 5 or Level 6 on the Scottish Credit & Qualifications Authority (SCQF) framework.
The courses are 3 days per week over 18 weeks, starting Sept 2017. All courses offer progression in January/February 2018. Courses have AL support to assist students with any issues they may face in or outwith of college. All the courses are FREE but eligibility criteria may apply.
Further financial support may be available through Edinburgh College to help with any extra costs. All the courses are under 16 hours a week and should not affect benefit entitlement.
Students should be unemployed. Other eligibility criteria may apply.
