Challenge Poverty Week Community Meal at the Broomhouse Centre

The Broomhouse Centre would like to welcome everyone to a Challenge Poverty Week Community Meal at the Broomhouse Centre, Monday 16 October 2017, served between 4.00pm – 6.00pm.

The meal is part of Poverty Alliance’s Challenge Poverty Week which invites organisations from all across Scotland to show what is being done to tackle poverty.

The main aims of the week are to:

  • Highlight the reality of poverty and challenge the stereotypes that about exist about it;
  • Demonstrate what is being done across Scotland to address poverty
  • Increase public support for more action to solve poverty 

The Broomhouse Centre will also be providing an update about their new centre build in 2018/9 and the Neighbourhood Garden Project in 2018.
