SCOREscotland are recruiting for a Community Worker to join their Green Futures Project team and work on the implementation and delivery of this exciting Project.
The post is 18 hours per week with a salary of £24,171 per annum (pro rata) with 8% pension after 3 months’ probation.
You will be required to enable the project to reach as many people as possible from diverse B/ME communities in South West Edinburgh. You will also have the ability to identify the needs of different community members and barriers to their participation in our project activities and as part of a team, devise imaginative solutions to address them and enhance meaningful participation. In addition you will be expected to take a lead in the delivery of any of the different programmes of the project.
Successful delivery of this project will need workers from different communities with an ability to speak a diversity of community languages and, crucially, excellent local knowledge and experience.
You will be part of a team of three Community Workers in order to minimise the risks of lone working and to provide extra flexibility for delivering events/workshops and sessions.
