The City of Edinburgh Council are currently looking to recruit four casual Facilities Assistants based at Wester Hailes Education Centre.
The posts are Casual, working as and when required and paid £8.13 to £9.15 per hour (plus living wage allowance if applicable)
To provide direct support to staff, students and members of the community within all types of Council properties with particular reference to customer care. To undertake all duties relating to the operation and maintenance of the building and surrounding grounds, ensuring minimal disruption to the daily activities of establishment users.
This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by the City of Edinburgh Council.
