The Broomhouse Centre are currently seeking to recruit a Cafe Assistant through Community Jobs Scotland.
The post is for 25 hours per week with a salary of £8.75 per hour working, Monday – Friday (hours to be agreed) between 9.30am – 2.30pm. As the post is through Community Job Scotland applicants must be between 16 – 29 and have a barrier to employment.
Assisting the cook and a team of volunteers in the preparation of food and service of food to customers. To learn new skills in cooking and baking through on the job training, to maintain a high level of customer service. Maintain and comply with Food Hygiene regulations and to complete a daily cleaning rota. to help with stocktaking and any other duties deemed appropriate by the cook/ catering Manager.
