The City of Edinburgh Council are looking for a Pupil Support Assistant to join Murrayburn Early years campus.
This post is 20 hours per week, 39 weeks per year, with a salary of £16,287 – £18,316 (Pro-rata for part time and sessional 39 weeks). The post holder will work with two children with challenging behavior.
The successful candidate will be required to register with the SSSC. They will need to hold or be willing to work towards a recognised childcare qualification at at SCQF Level 6 (SVQ 2).
This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by the City of Edinburgh Council.
