The City of Edinburgh Council are recruiting a Facilities Technician based at Gate 55.
The post is permanent working 21 hours a week part time with a salary of £19,424.00 – £21,828.00 per year.
You will undertake day to day FM, janitorial and DIY operations across one or more buildings, ranging from small repairs and general maintenance to reactive cleaning, supporting moves and conducting basic security functions.
The working hours will be:
Monday – Thursday 17:00 – 20:45
Saturday 08:00-14:30 – (includes 30 minute unpaid break)
This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by the City of Edinburgh Council.
