A message has been sent to us asking cyclists to be aware after someone was pushed into the canal while cycling through Wester Hailes.
The incident happened on the 14th August, as the cyclist was approaching the bridge under Wester Hailes road. Fortunately the cyclist only received minor injuries however they did suffer property damage.
The incident has been reported to police but enquiries are still ongoing. The cyclist would like to warn people to remain vigilant. They are currently reaching out to the council, local politicians and organisations to enquire about increased security and CCTV for the area.
