There will be a Wester Hailes Community Carnival Showcase on Saturday 8 July 2023, 2.00pm – 5.00pm at Westside Plaza Civic Square.
The event is organised by the Edinburgh Art Festival, Community Wellbeing Collective and SCOREscotland and Edinburgh Festival Carnival and aims to be a day celebrating Wester Hailes.
There will be a carnival parade with costumes, Caribbean-Inspired food, afro-hair styling, language exchange, face painting, arts and crafts, music, dance and special performances by Edinburgh Carnival performers!
