Space at the Broomhouse Hub is recruiting a part-time Young Carers Group Worker position.
The post is 6 hours per week. Monday and Tuesday evenings 5.00pm – 8.00pm with a salary of £21,728 per annum pro rata (actual salary £3,621).
The Group Worker will work alongside a Project Worker to help to deliver a programme of interesting, fun and educational activities to Young Carers aged 5-12yrs on Monday and Tuesday evenings.
The successful applicant will have some experience of working with or volunteering with young people in a supportive role, and have the interpersonal skills to naturally build rapport.
They should have a basic understanding of Young Carers and the issues they face as well.
