Local MSP for Edinburgh Pentlands Gordon Macdonald has released his latest newsletter for January 2026.
The newsletter contains the information that 480 people in Edinburgh Pentlands have been helped by the Warm Homes Scheme, the launch of a new online portal to help owners of empty homes fine potential buyers, the results of his Christmas Card Competition where the winning entry was designed by Shardrach Babido from Clovenstone primary School, with runner-up Ollie Jammeh from Canal View Primary School, a recent visit from Big Noise to the Scottish Parliament, a new carers allowance supplement that came into affect from December, a visit by Gordon to a Royal Mail delivery office, and the launch of a consultation by Edinburgh Council to contribute to the City Plan 2040.
