The Broomhouse Centre has been chosen as a finalist for The People’s Millions which is a partnership between The Big Lottery and ITV.
The Food for All project at Broomhouse could win over £48,000 for their project which aims to do many things all connected with food.
Their plans include work to develop a healthy eating plan, to increase links with the food bank, to start a home food delivery service for the elderly, to drive forward a youth café and to teach young people culinary and hospitality skills which might help them with employment. A small clip showing the project will be broadcast on ITV at 6pm. Then you can vote for them!
