Wester Hailes Library Knit & Natter supporting Nepal

Wester Hailes Library’s Knit and Natter group have been busy again knitting in support for Nepal.

The ladies  have knitted almost 100 jumpers and matching hats to send to The Sun’s knitting campaign. The Sun appealed to its readers to “knit for the needy kids of Nepal” since the recent earthquake.

The knitting group, Knit and Natter, meet every second Wednesday in Wester Hailes Library at 2.00 – 4.00pm. You can find out more information about what goes on in the library on the council website or the library’s facebook page.

If you would like to help by donating wool to the group to keep knitting, please hand it in to Wester Hailes Library.
