Clovenstone Primary School are planning an exciting project titled Fast – Families and Schools Together after the October holidays where parents or carers, families and school staff will work together in a range of activities such as cooking a family meal, art and crafts, singing and dancing.
The programme will run for 8 weeks, one day after school and is open to the parents or carers with children in primary 1 – 4. This programme has received awards and has been evidenced to contribute to:-
• Increasing pupil achievement in school
• Improving behaviour and safety of pupils
• Building relationships between parents and school staff
A short meeting about the project will be held at the school next Tuesday, 15 September at 2.15pm for parents interested in finding out more. Letters with more information were also sent out yesterday.
A family will win a hamper each week and everyone will get to sit down for a home cooked meal as well as join in loads of fun activities.
