Local MSP for Edinburgh Pentlands, Gordon Macdonald, has released his latest newsletter for May 2024.
The newsletter contains details on the announcement of additional funding to bring more homes into the housing supply in Edinburgh, the retirement of Sascha Macleod the Director of the BIG Project, information on how to check your tax code in preparation of a new advanced income tax band. There is also news that the chairperson of Sighthill, Broomhouse and Parkhead Community Council Betty Milton is retiring, and the news that more taxpayers are moving to Scotland, that the Scottish Government paid £300m to help Household Energy Bills and that all Scottish social security benefits increased by 6.7% in April.
