Local textile group Stitch ‘n’ Time’s bunting will be on display around the country after it was awarded “Highly Commended” status in Country Living Magazine’s Festive Bunting Competition.
The group originally decided to visit the magazine’s Glasgow Christmas Fair to see if they could get some ideas or inspirations for some Christmas items. However, when they found out that there was a bunting competition they couldn’t help but enter. Their highly commended bunting will be on display at all three of Country Living Magazine’s Christmas Fairs which occur at London, Glasgow and Harrogate.
The group used fabric printed with sheet music for “Away in a Manger” on the individual flags and knitted some decorations in the form of Holly and Berries. Here is a photo. For more information visit the Stitch ‘n’ Time blog here.
