Local MSP for Edinburgh Pentlands Gordon Macdonald has released his latest newsletter for October 2025.
The newsletter contains the news that the Housing Bill aimed at improving tenants rights, including a requirement for landlords to tackle damp and mould has passed the Scottish parliament, a visit to a tree planting with P4 in Stenhouse and Care and Repairs 40th birthday, information on the move by Wester Hailes Post office from their current location to upstairs in Plaza news from tomorrow 7 October 2025, a new payment for carers looking after more than one person, and Scottish Gas launching the warm home discount scheme for 2025/26.
