Prospect Community Housing in partnership with WHALE Arts will be launching Welcome Home a course open to new tenants to Clovenstone Close.
Welcome Home is a free 8-week course for new tenants in Clovenstone Close, starting Friday 6 March 2026 at Clovenstone Community Centre, 10.00am – 12.00pm.
Welcome Home is a relaxed friendly group where you can make fun and useful items for your home. You can also get to know your neighbours, and find out what’s happening in the local area.
- Week 1: Welcome session with simple crafts (join in or just come along and enjoy a cuppa!)
- Week 2: Group walk around Wester Hailes
- Week 3 – 7: Making things for your new home
- Week 8: Group celebration
If you’re not sure how to get to Clovenstone Community Centre, Gillian and Caroline from Prospect will meet people interested in taking part at the bus stop on Clovenstone Gardens road by Clovenstone Close at 9.45am, before walking across together.
