WHALE Arts’ Street Arts project takes place out in Wester Hailes every Thursday offering creative activities for young people delivered by artists out in the community.
Street Arts is open to young people aged 6 to 12, and runs every Thursday. It’s free, it’s fun, and every week is different, with an eclectic mix of art, drama, music and movement.
The Street Arts team travel across the different neighbourhoods of Wester Hailes across the evening. Here’s where you’ll find them:
- Westburn Quarrybank – at the foot of the steps (4:50pm – 5:15pm)
- The Calders Playpark (5:20pm – 5:50pm)
- Murrayburn Greenway – by Michael’s Shop (5:55pm – 6:25pm)
- Clovenstone Playpark (6:30pm – 6:55pm)
