The Community Wellbeing Collective are looking for a working class artist to participate in an exciting 12-month residency programme starting in September 2026 as part of our upcoming Culture Collective project Wellbeing Learning Circles.
The CWC are searching for an artist who has experience and passion for working with communities, an understanding of participatory art and a process-driven approach to their practice. No formal art education or traditional art background is required. Ideally, they are looking to support an artist who is living in or connected to Wester Hailes or with lived experience of being part of a working class community in Edinburgh, whose creative practice explores themes of mental health, wellbeing, and radical care.
