The Broomhouse Health Strategy Group and the Broomhouse Centre will be holding a street party this Thursday, 13 August 2015, 11.00am to 3.00pm, at the Broomhouse Market, the Broomhouse Grove all weather court and the Broomhouse Centre.
Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy sharing in a whole range of free activities, all aimed at raising awareness of the health and wellbeing services in this local area. We have 14 local organisations taking part this year.
We have some special features this year too including:
Dads Rock musical session – 12.00 noon
The Big Sing – are performing in front of the mural wall in Broomhouse Market at 1pm
Bookbug Story sessions for parents and children are at 11.30am, 12.30pm and 1.30pm
Cooking Up A Story sessions making fun Animal Pizza Puffs for parents and children are at 11.30am, 12.00 noon, 12.30pm, 1.30pm, 2.00pm and 2.30pm.
Cool Creatures will be here from 12.30-2pmAnd we have lots of activity stalls from kite making to the Arty Fruit Challenge, as well as Rugby and Football sessions with Salvesen and Forresters.
