There will be a choir singing service this Friday 18 December 2015, 1.00pm at the Christmas tree in the Healthy Living Centre.
After the choir singing there will be a cheque presentation from the STV Children’s Appeal. The money comes after a successful bid by the local community. The bid had been developed after the Open Space event successfully highlighted the priorities which were important to local people in Wester Hailes.
The money will be used to create a new community organisation, the Wester Hailes Community Trust, which will allocate funding to allow local people to take forward ideas and action to address community priorities.
Head along and join in the fun. STVEdinburgh and the Fountainbridge Show will also be in attendance.
