Westburn CAN is an exciting new project taking place in and around WHALE Arts. It will involve a regular programme of creative community activities that will help to reduce carbon and improve the local environment.
A key part of the project will be the creation of a Horticulture Hub that will transform the neglected greenspace around WHALE into a focal point for community food growing, gardening and skills development.
WHALE are looking for local residents to help us design, build and grow the Hub.
Anyone with an interest in gardening, food, or their local community is welcome to drop-in to have a chat, some soup, or to dig in!
